This week's menu (the menu changes on Wednesday evenings)
The yellow house bar & kitchen is currently open from 5:30pm on Monday-Thursday and from 11:30am on Friday-Sunday. During weekends we serve a selection of brunch specials, delicious wood fired pizzas and (on Sundays) a mouth-watering roast with Yorkshire pudding.
The restaurant dining room is available by arrangement - please call us if you wish to arrange a private lunch party for up to 40 guests.
We source fresh fish from Billingsgate, our local market. Unfortunately, overfishing of popular species such as cod and skate has caused serious depletion of these stocks. We havn't served cod for a few years, but other stocks are also at risk. There are many other tasty fish in the sea so don't be surprised if you see more of species such as gurnard, red snapper and tilapia appearing on our menu! Our meat is supplied by G G Sparkes Butchers, listed in Rick Stein's book "Food Heroes" and one of the very few London butchers certified to sell organic meats. Most of the meat we serve is organic, including the beef for our tasty hand made and char grilled beef burgers served in The yellow house bar & kitchen - see for example the 29th May, 2008 delivery note  . Our chickens are supplied by S J Frederick & Sons, a traditional family farm in rural Essex (www.labelanglais.co.uk).
